“The thing that makes me happiest about my work as a dentist is when, as a result of mutual trust and cooperation, the patient’s teeth are healthy and oral hygiene is good. I have to be grateful to my deskmate in school, who told me at the age of 11 that she needed a good dentist, after which I had the idea to study and be a doctor myself.”

Why did you choose this profession?

I went to study to become a dentist because my 11-year-old classmate had problems with her teeth. She jokingly said she needed a doctor and I thought, why not?

What is your ideal patient like?

A good patient is someone who listens and trusts the doctor.

What makes you smile?

A patient who has good oral health, both in terms of teeth and oral hygiene, makes me smile. It makes me especially happy when it is the result of our joint work.
